About Aesthetic Times

An international editorial perspective on beauty, aesthetic medicine and the culture of appearance.

Our editorial remit

Aesthetic Times covers beauty, aesthetic medicine, longevity, lifestyle, fashion and design. Our reporting connects developments in Korea, Europe and the United States, examining the research, ideas and cultural shifts that shape how people think about appearance.

English is the publication’s principal editorial language. Articles are prepared for editions in English, German, French, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Italian, Spanish and Russian. Each language version is published only after individual editorial approval; not every article is available in all eight languages.

Reporting and perspective

Original articles and analysis place developments in context through identifiable authorship and verifiable sources. Our international press review complements this work with selected reporting from newspapers, magazines and specialist publications, always identifying the original publisher.

Beauty trends, commercial claims and clinical evidence require different kinds of scrutiny. We distinguish between them and explain what research can establish, where its limits lie and which questions remain open.

Editorial responsibility

Aesthetic Times is published by Dr. Ludwig Reinhardt. Medical content is subject to review by Prof. Dr. Salazar, the publisher and the Aesthetic Times editorial team. Every article and translated edition requires editorial approval before publication.

The companies covered in our thematic reporting are independent businesses with no connection to Aesthetic Times. Mentioning a company or listing a publication as a source does not establish a partnership. Readers can contact the editorial office using the details provided on this page.

HISTORICAL MEDICAL PRESS

An editorial tradition. Brought to life.

Aesthetic Times draws on the editorial spirit of The Medical Times, first published in London in 1839. We give that tradition of medical journalism a contemporary expression: making knowledge accessible, putting developments in context and bringing aesthetics, science and culture into conversation.

Our Historical Medical Press series explores selected original pages with precise source references and new editorial commentary. It brings the medical press of the nineteenth century into conversation with the questions Aesthetic Times asks today.
